The Los Angeles Dodgers were eliminated from the World Series on Tuesday evening at Yankee Stadium for the second time in the playoffs when a pitching activity blew up on them.
The Yankees had a chance to struggle in Game 4 if they won 11-4.
The Dodgers regularly used their pitching throughout the entire year, winning over the San Diego Padres and the New York Mets in those games. They have been 2-2 in those games, having been hit by a reckless of starter accidents this year. Although the Mets had a pitching in Game 2 of that line, Game 6 of the National League Championship Series victory over the Mets was a pitch activity, the Mets had already beaten them in that activity.
But if it’s any salve for the Dodgers, they wo n’t have to resort to this tactic again in the best-of-seven series.

That’s put a heavy burden on the relievers, even beyond the bullpen-only games. Roberts has used an average of at least five pitchers per game to get through the first three games. The bullpen finished eighth among playoff teams with a 4.12 regular-season ERA.
Yet, the Dodgers are 10-5 so far in the playoffs, one victory from a championship.
” I feel great about the pitching and the bullpen, in particular”, Roberts said. ” Where we’re at going into]Game 5], no one gets a day off. We were aware that we had a bullpen game, but we emerged from it feeling rested and with six guys. I’m happy about that and being up 3-1.
