It’s the end of a long journey for the group, which has previously expressed interest in buying a small league hockey club, including an attempt to buy a team in Colorado Springs.
Bissonnette made humorous comments about the Dallas Cowboys owner and the long-time NHL executive who now leads the New York Islanders, saying,” I’m going to see my part like Jerry Jones/Lou Lamoriello.” ” I’m going to have my hands on anything. … I’m going to work the s — out of this team to several finals”.
Although the acquisition of the Chiclets ‘ is not entirely new, it is the most recent investment by non-traditional owners like content creators and blockchain platforms into lower-level professional sports.
