Real Madrid Earns Over $92M in Prize Money With UCL Title Win

In a 95- second wonderful last Saturday at London’s Wembley Stadium, Real Madrid CF captured their 15th UEFA Champions League title, the most of any group, by defeating Borussia Dortmund 2- 0.

Real Madrid is earning$ 92 million ( €85.14 million ) for their victory on Saturday. Thanks to UEFA’s generous reward system, which favors consistently successful teams and includes their share of broadcast revenues from the competition, this total could increase to$ 150 million.
The prize money for this year’s Champions League, which is divided among all 32 participating teams, is$ 2.2 billion ( €2.032 billion ).

European soccer’s governing body distributes 55 % of this amount ($ 1.2 billion ) based on team performance. Each of the 32 clubs that make it to the group stage will receive a €15.64 million team level planning, and each team will receive a €2.8 million succeed. Real Madrid’s next income opportunity is not the Champions League final. The team may face Europa League champion Atalanta on August 14 at the Polish Stadion Narodowy for another$ 5.5 million in prize income.

Real Madrid and Dortmund qualified for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which may take place in the United States second summertime, and the competition for the following season.
