According to a news release, the Pro Padel League ( PPL) and AFP Courts have announced that Adidas will become the league’s official court sponsor as part of a multiyear partnership in preparation for the upcoming season.
The 10-team group, which begins its time on April 2 in Miami, becomes the official court dealer thanks to the three-year deal. Adidas and the PPL may co-brand the courts, respectively. A group spokesman declined to disclose the partnership’s economic details.
” Now, two of the best positioned brands in the sports sector, Pro Padel League and Adidas, join forces to increase the activity of padel and its process all around the U. S.”, Jose Delgado, AFP’s co- CEO, said in a statement. ” I’m confident that this partnership will mark a significant step for the padel business worldwide,” he said.
Daddy Yankee ( Orlando ), 2009 U.S. Open champion Juan Martin Del Potro ( a strategic advisor to the Miami Padel Club ), and Gavin Maloof, who was a part-owner of NHL’s Las Vegas Golden Knights and former owner of the NBA’s Sacramento Kings, are some notable celebrities and high-net-worth individuals who are PPL’s owners.
Maloof owns the Las Vegas Smash, who won the 2023 PPL final.
The group also made a new agreement with Miami’s Ultra Club, which will number the first two games of the 2024 year starting on April 2 and April 9;
