The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup soccer final will take place on July 13 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, according to a press release from the sports ‘ governing body. The 12-venue event is scheduled to begin on June 15.
The FIFA World Cup Final is scheduled to take place in the 82-seat facility in 2026, with the initial sessions taking place in 16 cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
FIFA will host the biggest, most diverse, and merit-based world club competition in the United States in 2025, according to FIFA leader Gianni Infantino, who made the announcement at the Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park and was quoted by ESPN.

MetLife does headline a group of different locations that include Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., Hard Rock Stadium in the Miami area, GEODIS Park in Nashville, Camping World Stadium and Inter&amp, Co Stadium both in Orlando, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Lumen Field in Seattle and Audi Field in Washington.
MetLife is home to the NFL’s New York Giants and Jets, and it has hosted another significant recreational activities, including the 2014 Super Bowl and earlier this year an exterior NHL hockey trip that included all three regional professional groups and the Philadelphia Flyers.
” The 32 best clubs in the world will host the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, which may feature 12 fantastic arenas where great people from the 32 best clubs in the world will write a new chapter in sport’s global story,” added Infantino.
Only two qualifiers have been named for the 32-club bring for the event, one from the United States and the other from South America. The draw will take place in December.
FIFA increased the area from seven venues in 2023 to 32 next year, despite criticism from different soccer governing body.
The best clubs from Africa, Asia, Central and North America, and Oceania will play the powerhouses of Europe and South America in an amazing new World Cup, according to Infantino,” this new FIFA competition is the only real example of global club football of true solidarity and inclusivity.”
