With his most recent walk, Taurean Prince is making a big step into entrepreneurship.
The Los Angeles Lakers smaller ahead is funding the eponymous shoe company Crossover Culture. Prince will not only be a manufacturer embassy, but he will also play a bigger role with the company, where he will actively participate in shoe product design and production.
Prince, 30, will be the brand’s primary NBA investment because the former looks to chart a different course from those who wear more expensive models like Nike and Adidas but lacks little influence over the creative path. He can research marketing efforts and business strategies thanks to his association with Crossover Culture.
Prince, who has been a trainer free agent for years, signed with Adidas for the first few years of his career, but he decided against it after feeling that things were “inconsistent.” He has since been a glove completely agent.

Then he’s found an exclusive house with Crossover Culture.
” I could’ve signed with Nike and got shirts and completely Jordans”, Prince said in an exam. ” It was n’t worth it to me. I understood that I wanted to wait for a chance to become more of a partner than to simply be me and wear someone else’s clothing.
Before making a decision to fully commit to the company with his unknown funding, the original Baylor University star started out wearing Crossover Culture shoes this year.
Prince, who has interests for a wider audience, is one of the current and former NBA participants who has chosen a different way for their glove endorsements. Big Baller Brand, which was influenced by Lonzo and LaMelo Ball by NBA players, has attracted a lot of attention in recent years. Different players have made their own personal footwear, including Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving and Orlando Magic forth Jonathan Isaac.
Along with LeBron James, the Lakers ‘ co-founder of SpringHill, Austin Reaves, and Spencer Dinwiddie, a co-founder of Eonxi, are Prince and other entrepreneurs in the locker room. Prince claimed to have learned a few things about business from Dinwiddie.
Crossover Culture, which was established in 2019, aims to capitalize on this wave of participant autonomy in which college and professional athletes are interested in taking active part in their business dealings and off-court activities. The Los Angeles-based clothing manufacturer wants to use the popularity of sports to expand its customer base and to have long-term impact on the direction of the business.
According to Crossover Culture founder Ryan Duke,” We’re building the system from A to Z, then inviting people to come in and become owners and be able to set their stamp on the brand.” ” And]they’re ] valued at the same level as everybody else that’s on the brand. It’s certainly paid to play”.
Crossover Culture aims to appeal to a younger statistical and penetrate the youth baseball surroundings. The separate athlete-centric firm last month partnered with five high school and college players for an NIL package, including former Kentucky players Rob Dillingham and Jordan Burks and former Ohio State sun Jacy Sheldon.

Prince hopes to introduce his perspective to crossover culture and make it more prevalent.
” We’re going to make a lot of noise in the space over the next few years”, he said. ” Stay tuned”.
