Toronto Raptors core Jontay Porter, who is on leave pending an NBA research into betting abnormalities, had a VIP accounts with FanDuel in Colorado from 2021 to 2023, The Action Network reported Tuesday. The statement said FanDuel “did never take any bet on the NBA or college sports ” from Porter, who reportedly bet “millions of dollars in total ” with a higher speed that included over 1,000 bet. Before signing a deal with the Birds, Porter claimed that FanDuel had allegedly betted on him while he was playing in the G League. Adam Silver, the NBA inspector, recently claimed that Porter is accused of a “cardinal sin” in the context of his team. Gold also stressed he has the “ultimate extreme alternative ” to “ban” Porter from the sport. NBA players may bet on another sports, provided it is valid in the appropriate jurisdiction. In Colorado and in 37 different states, sports betting is permitted.
