Hockey Teams Face the Music Over Copyright Infringement

They have all been charged with copyright infringement this year for using music without the authorization of the music’s creators and publishers.
The most recent lawsuit to raise allegations of music theft was brought by production music company Associated Production Music ( APM), which has a collection of more than 650, 000 tracks. In exchange for profits or fees, APM has the exclusive right to grant others permission to use their music. As a result, APM has the right to copyright recordings.
