Yoshinobu Yamamoto, a star cup from Japan, has been signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers for opportunistic$ 325, the highest contract in MLB history and the ninth-highest for any person. With the Orix Buffaloes and an ERA of 1.72 over seven months, Yamamoto has dominated Nippon Professional Baseball, the top division in Japan.
