Djokovic Withdraws From French Open With Knee Injury

Novak Djokovic, who had a hip injury on Monday, withdrew from the French Open back of his final suit against Casper Ruud. With Djokovic up, a new men’s champion will be crowned at Roland Garros on Sunday, and a fresh No. 1- ranked people’s player in the world may be named second year.
Djokovic suffered a leg injury during his five-set victory over Brazilian Francisco Cerundolo in the round of 16. An MRI test revealed that the 37- year- ancient suffered a” broken lateral meniscus” of his proper knee, according to a statement from Roland Garros.
