Variety reports that DirecTV has put together a slim pack of sports channels aimed at people who want to watch live sports without having to pay for a comprehensive Screen package.
Launching Tuesday, DirecTV MySports first includes 40 activities and broadcast stations and is available in 24 rail regions, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and the San Francisco Bay Area. The MySports offer will typically cost$ 69.99 per month. Consumers who register online for the item before Feb. 28, 2025, are entitled to receive MySports for$ 49.99 per month for the first three weeks. Additionally, the business is providing a free five-day prosecution of DirecTV MySports.
MySports is priced properly under DirecTV’s Entertainment and Sports Pack entry-level streaming item, which is routinely$ 101.98/month. The company launches only weeks after Disney, Fox Corp. and Warner Bros. Discovery announced that Venu Sports, the joint venture between the two corporations, would no longer be able to provide a sports-focused streaming package for$ 42.99 per quarter.

Through partnerships with advertising companies like Disney, Fox Corp., and Warner Bros., DirecTV secured submission privileges for the MySports stations. Discovery and NBC Universal. The package also includes sites from each of the main U. S. activities leagues—NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB—and big undergraduate events. Now, the deal does not include Paramount Global’s CBS, DirecTV is in conversations to put the journalist to the mix.
In 2025, DirecTV predicted that more style options would be available with packages geared toward children’s and family programming as well as entertainment networks, following the launch of MySports. When it inked a new deal with Disney next September, DirecTV made reference to plans to introduce genre-based levels.
According to DirecTV CEO Bill Morrow,” The introduction of MySports from DirecTV gives consumers greater option, freedom, and power to choose the type of content they want to see at the correct price.” This is the first of many genre-based options we intend to introduce in the upcoming months as we work toward a brighter TV potential for consumers.
National sports programs available at build through DirecTV MySports include: ACC Network, Big Ten Network, DirecTV 4K Live, DirecTV 4K Live 2, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Golf Channel, MLB Network, NBA Television, NFL Network, NHL Network, SEC Network, TBS, TNT, TruTV and USA Network. Any local channels owned and operated by ABC, Fox, and NBC will primarily be included in the broadcast stations. More networks, local channels and ESPN+ will be included in MySports at” no extra expense in the near future”, according to DirecTV.

More information about MySports can be found on DirecTV’s website at this website, including first launch markets.
Those in 24 major metro regions, like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and the San Francisco Bay Area ( Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose ), will have access to local ABC, Fox and NBC stations starting this week. Customers in metro areas including Houston, Dallas, Washington, D. C., Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Gainesville, Fla., Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix, Seattle, Tampa, Miami, Boston, New Haven, Conn., and San Diego will receive at least some of their local ABC, NBC or Fox stations ( in cities where the network owns the local station outlet ). As affiliates choose to participate, those in other areas will receive their regional channels.
Users can supply MySports through the DirecTV mobile application as well as Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV through various platforms. Additionally, the company may offer unlimited cloud-based DVRs and game-time messages.
In addition, as with all DirecTV items, MySports users will also have access to the MyFree DirecTV ad-supported activities streams, which includes ACC Digital Network, Big 12, Fight Network, Fuel Television, Origin Sports, Pickleball TV, People TV, Sports Grid, Stadium Stream, Surfer TV, Swerve Combat, T2, The Jim Rome Show, TNA, Torque by History, Waypoint TV and Women’s Sports Network.
