In its third quarter income, released on Wednesday evening, UFC and its parent company TKO Group Holdings oversaw Wall Street objectives.
TKO reported earnings of$ 681.2 million for the period ended on September 30, exceeding analyst consensus estimates by more than$ 17 million, despite the fact that it fell short of the combined$ 736.4 million income of UFC and WWE in the same time last season due to a change in the event schedule of UFC events, according to a TKO transfer. The business also beat expectations on net income, posting$ 57.7 million in the third quarter, and on another measure of profitability, adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization ( EBITDA ), with$ 310 million.
” We now expect to deliver at the top end of our full-year 2024 advice variety for both profit and adjusted EBITDA”, said TKO professional seat and CEO Ari Emanuel, in a press release. In August, TKO told investors it anticipates 2024 revenue to be between$ 2.67 billion and$ 2.745 billion and adjusted EBITDA between$ 1.22 billion and$ 1.24 billion.

UFC’s quarter produced$ 354.9 million sales, down from$ 397.5 million last year due to three fewer events in the quarter than last year ( over the full year, the number of UFC events will be roughly the same as 2023 ). The Sphere’s$ 20 million production costs even caused some of UFC’s expenses to rise, but the result was the venue’s and UFC’s highest taking event.
In comparison to what the company made last year, which was largely separate for the majority of the 2023 quarter, joining TKO on September 12 of that year, revenue increased by around 14 % in the quarter. Funding income was a big hit for the wrestling industry, which shows how much TKO management places an emphasis on expanding that industry. WWE is supported by ticket sales and media freedom money from the change to the CW for NXT and the USA Network for Smackdown. The party generated$ 326.3 million nevertheless.
TKO noted that the company will be engaged in 2025 as it enters a$ 3.25 billion package with Endeavor Group, which owns the majority of TKO stock, as well as its third-quarter performance. TKO may even start a$ 2 billion share buyback programme in 2025 and issue its second dividend to shareholders in March of that year.
