Combs, who is currently incarcerated after being charged with criminal conspiracy acts and sex trafficking last month, made no comment regarding the status of his charitable contribution to the sports program.
Combs made his initial commitment known during his embrace statement at the BET Awards in 2022 while receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award. Additionally, he also made a$ 1 million pledge to his alma mater, Howard University, that year, according to the institution. However, Howard has since stated that the company has since returned the$ 1 million, other gifts, and the honorary degree he was awarded in 2014.
