The inaugural Women’s Champions Classic, a new women’s college basketball competition taking place in Brookly n’s Barclays Center in December, will be hosted by Shark Beauty, according to Horizon Sports &, Experiences.
Fox will heat the Dec. 7 dual, which may have UConn, Iowa, Tennessee and Louisville.
As part of a yearlong deal, Shark Beauty will be prominently featured though advertisements, modern campaigns, in-arena banners, fan activations and kindness. Shark Beauty, under the SharkNinja overcoat, makes scalp stylers, dryers and other supporting materials.
” This first-of-its-kind early-season women’s game in New York City provides the type of national light that will continue to raise the women’s sport, and we are thrilled to be on the earth floor to support further its speed as subject sponsor”, Petra Oman, Shark Beauty’s VP of global marketing, said in a statement.
Women’s hockey is still thriving at both the school and professional levels, with the WNBA playoffs currently achieving new viewership records and the NCAA women’s championship game winning for the first time last year.
” New avenues for engagement and improved return on investment have emerged as the acceptance of women’s hockey continues to grow.” By recognising the value of women’s athletics, Shark Beauty is acting as an example for different companies, according to Horizon’s co-CEO David Levy.
The Women’s Champions Classic is n’t the only college basketball game to make headlines this week. The Coretta Scott King Classic may be broadcast on Fox on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January on Tuesday. Baylor, UCLA, Texas and Maryland did attend, with both activities taking place in Newark’s Prudential Center. For the first time ever, the names of both civil right images are being used on official licenses for sporting events.
