Alcaraz Wins His First French Open, $2.6M in Prize Money

Carlos Alcaraz defeated Alexander Zverev 6- 3, 2- 6, 5- 7.6- 1, 6- 2 to get his second French Open name and second Grand Slam, including the 2022 U. S. Open and 2023 Wimbledon.
The win was worth$ 2.6 million in prize money for Spain’s Alcaraz, while Germany’s Zverev earned$ 1.3 million. It was Zverev’s next Grand Slam last after his 2020 U. S. Open presence, but he still seeks his first name.
