Reggie Bush’s 2005 Heisman Trophy may become returned to him.
The Heisman Trust is publicly announcing the reinstatement of Bush’s medal on Wednesday, according to ESPN. The prize will be returned to Bush, and USC will receive a copy. Also, Bush will get invited to all potential Heisman Trophy rites beginning with the 2024 season.
In 2010 in the midst of a high-profile NCAA research into USC, where it was revealed that Bush had received unrequited benefits during his college career with the Trojans, the running up formerly forfeited his prize.

We took into account the significant changes in school athletics over the past few years before deciding that now is the ideal time to restore the Trophy for Reggie.
